The day is divided in 3 sessions; 2 sessions of 1:45 and 1 session of 1:30.

First Session 8:00 to 9:45

  • Getting Familiar with WordPress and the page builder
  • Creating a header and a footer
  • Working with images

Second Session 10:00 to 11:45

  • Creating a Hero section

  • Creating a Services Grid or the description of your service.

  • Working with forms

  • Creating a Call to Action section

Third Session 12:30 to 14:00

  • Creating an About section

  • Creating a Contact section

  • Final questions

  • Going live

What are the requirements?

  1. Complete the booking online
  2. Be able to participate in the workshop at the designated date and time
  3. Two screens or two laptops, or a screen + an iPad during the workshop. It’s important that you have one screen to see what we do, and another screen to actually do it in your website.
  4. A decent internet connection (we’ll contact you before the workshop to check this)
  5. Prepare the information you need for the workshop (you will receive an email with simple to follow instructions upon registration)

Do I need technical knowledge?

Not really, as long as you know how to use the computer, you will be fine.

We will prepare the tools you will use to build your website, removing the more technical steps of building a website.

That will allow you to customise and complete your website without the need for extensive technical knowledge.

What if we want to do updates to the website after the workshop?

You will be able to make updates yourself – you’ll own the website and will have access to it anytime.

You can apply the knowledge acquired during the workshop to make basic changes.

What software is used to build the website?

WordPress and Yootheme Pro.

WordPress is an open source Content Management System, which allow users to make changes without altering the code of the website.

Yootheme Pro is a page builder that makes the editing process easier, by allowing you to drag and drop elements to the desired areas of the website.
